What image formats are supported?
Exif Master supports JPEG, HEIF/HEIC, PNG, TIFF, RAW (CR2, CR3, NEF, ARW, DNG, ORF, RW2), and more. Most major camera brands are supported.
Does the app upload my photos?
No. All processing is done locally on your device. Your photos and metadata never leave your device. No internet connection is required.
Can I remove location data before sharing?
Yes! Exif Master offers multiple privacy sanitization strategies. You can remove GPS data only, strip all metadata, or choose custom fields to remove before sharing photos.
Is batch editing supported?
Yes. You can select multiple photos and batch-edit dates, locations, or apply privacy sanitization to all selected photos at once.
How do I restore metadata after sanitization?
Exif Master creates reversible backups before sanitization. You can restore the original metadata at any time from the photo detail view.
What iOS version is required?
Exif Master requires iOS 17.0 or later. Some features like advanced charts require iOS 17+.
